Dorian Yanez-Wickman is a Programmer and Writer who has been studying at George Mason University to work on game narratives, world-building, and game scripting for smaller game studios. After having worked alongside several other larger groups to produce several games, Dorian knows how to work with others to create a larger project. That work helped formed his belief that what separates a good team from a great one is their ability to communicate and organize, everyone plays an important role and without communication, understanding and organization what would have been a stable project dissolves into a mess of misunderstandings and incomplete tasks. Most importantly, those developing the game must keep the player in mind. One must find the balance between making the game one envisioned and a game people want to play.
Dorian Yanez-Wickman has studied at George Mason University with two projects, Treat Racer and GMU Drift, published and a third on the way. He is a programmer for Drift Works Studio. Outside of programming, he has several stories and worlds he has created in his spare time. A major project of his being the story of Wings of Drake, a vast world with a spanning history that has only been touched on lightly for a story document. He is close to finishing his education and getting a batchers degree in Computer Game Design.
